Thursday May 17, 2018 🌿

Hello!!!! ❤

I am finally back! SO MUCH has happened since I last blogged on May 1st.. can’t believe it’s been 17 days since I last blogged. Life has been so busy, it’s like ever since May hit, everything went crazy. So some highlights of May:

  • I passed that hard class I was worried about
  • I graduated college
  • I got married
  • I moved into my new home

So yeah it’s been a crazy 17 days! Let’s start from the beginning. So, Mirhad went to Boston to visit Irhad on May 6th for about 5 days. I missed him a lot, but I had so much to do to keep me busy. I spent a lot of that time getting the house ready. I think he deff missed me more tho lol, it was so weird seeing him when I picked him up @ the airport because I literally didn’t see his face for 5 days. My last exam was super hard, it was so difficult to study for because my brain was already done with school as soon as I finished my micro exam the week before lol. It was a tough one, but Adisa and I made it!! Anyways, right when he came back our bed got delivered so the people from Weekend’s Only put it together (thank you bc it was so complicated). After that, we went to go pick out a mattress which was able for pick up the next day. That Saturday (the 12th) was my graduation. Here’s some pics from that day!

It was sweet of everyone to come out and support me ❤ I felt so loved! After graduation, I spent the next 3 days moving my stuff into the house.. which took FOREVER. Moving out is harder than it seems. I didn’t realize I had so much stuff packed into my room, well not that much stuff it’s just that I have a lot of clothes and things like that so I had to go back and forth. Next time, I’m deff going to buy more storage bins so I don’t have to make multiple trips.

Yesterday (the BEST day of them all) was when we got officially married at the courthouse!!!! As of yesterday at 1 pm, I am a married woman. It’s so crazy! I mean nothing really changed besides the fact that I get to live with my best friend, I feel the same, we act the same, and I’m just excited for all of the fun things we can do in the future! I also have some pictures of yesterday.

It was a very long, but rewarding day. Mirhad went straight to sleep after we came back and I went back to my moms so I can pack some more stuff that I left. We fasted yesterday because it was the first day of Ramadan, so I made food later that night for Iftar, it was yummy! 🙂

Need to update on some house pictures and some decorations I have up, but first I need to organize everything because there is boxes everywhere that we haven’t unpacked yet. So yeah, I’m loving the new house. It’s great and it’s feeling very cozy. I’m grateful for everyone in my life who has helped me and who has been there for me on this crazy ride!

All of my countdowns have passed and the only one that’s left is our trip to Colorado!! 7 more days woohoo!!! Mountains, here I come!!!! ❤ ❤ I cannot wait, seriously I am so ready to get a change of scenario and to relax a little bit before I start working which is also coming up in the beginning of June. I cannot wait to visit all of these places, I was also thinking about making a trip out to Utah maybe visit one of their national parks.

That’s it for now.. bye! 🙂
