Good morning!
Happy Tuesday, it’s a much better day weather wise than this weekend and yesterday and it makes all the difference in everyones moods! I have lots to blog about which I am going to do in the next 2 1/2 hours before my class so be prepared for A LOT! As of right now, I am drinking coffee in my room and just having a good time. I cut up some bananas and oranges – these oranges I bought are like pink on the inside and no I didn’t accidentally buy grapefruit, but they’re actually pretty sweet!
So, yesterday I got everything done that needed to be done for my bridal shower, I’m going to post some pictures of what we did. It was a very long, tiring day honestly. That took FOREVER especially because we ran into some dilemmas, but in the end everything turned out so cute! So here are some pictures:
So those little boxes have rose petals inside and then some little candies. We had to put the boxes together, fill them up, then close them back up and tie those little bows around the top. I think they look so adorable! Then we did these ribbons on the flower vases, well Sejla did because she made the best ribbons hahahah and real flowers will go in each of them (I think there’s like 7 or 8) and we will put them on each table. What I forgot to take a picture of was the props Sanela and I had to glue on a stick. There were a bunch! Medina was our little helper throughout this whole day, she gave us which prop to glue 😂 And omg I totally forgot to take a picture of the party favors… but I will add more pictures the actual day of my shower! They are little nail-polishes and they are soooo adorable because they look like they have veils on them. Anyways, that seems like it wouldn’t take a long time, but it took a couple hours. We also thought of some games, I think we’re going to do like 3-4 of them to take up the time. But yes, that’s all done with finally. Everything else is just decorating on Sunday. I also got my dress and shoes so I am set to go!!
Mirhad started packing up his stuff from his room, basically everything besides his clothes and I also need to start doing that soon. I think I’m going to need a couple storage containers to pack my stuff up because I have a bunch of small things and I think it would be best to do just 2-3 big containers. But OMG…. 29 more days till I move out and get married!!! WOOHOO!!! I can’t believe how fast time flew by… well not really but now that it’s getting closer and closer I feel so anxious. I know our parents will be sad, but I know we will see them a lot so it will be like we never left (kind of). Anywayssssss, I am so excited to have my own place and I can’t wait to start decorating. We will be looking at furniture a lot for the next 29 days so we can furnish this place!
I also need to get in touch with my future workplace so we can finalize stuff, they said around this time or end of April would be when we start doing the process. Oh, also…. Adisa will be working with me!!!!!! She got an offer and we are sooooo excited!!! I’m so happy for her and I think she really deserves this after a tough semester of searching for jobs and going to tons of interviews! I can’t wait to work with her, I think we will be in the same building so it will be fun! We can carpool, eat lunch together, go on breaks together, etc., I can’t wait 🙂 🙂
Just came back from driving Mirhad to school and now I am about to start getting ready for class. I need to make another to-do list today so I make sure I don’t forget to do the stuff I need to do. It just little things and some aren’t even pertaining to the shower, it’s just stuff I need to do for myself.
Today when Mirhad gets out of class, we’re going to go to Weekends Only to look at furniture. Hopefully we find something we like, it’s so hard for us to like the same couch apparently lol. —— Weekends Only is CLOSED bc it’s a weekends only store… dumb moment for me hahahaha. So instead we will go buy storage bins so I can start packing!
Meant to upload this post earlier today, but I went to school and didn’t bring my computer, so now I am at home finishing this before I leave to go pick up Mirhad. My mom went to SAMS the other day and I feel like she didn’t get anything good 😐 so I think at Walmart I’ll pick up some bagel thins and maybe one orange because Walmart’s is the BEST. So I didn’t get what I was hoping I’d get on the test, but I did really good on my homework so my grade basically stayed the same.. YAY! I also think if I do well on the quizzes and rest of the homework that I can pass with an okay grade which is just enough for me 🙂 That means I don’t have to stress too much about it. I have a micro test coming up and I don’t even know what I have in the class because he hasn’t posted any grades this semester at all.. eh, I think I’ll be okay with this one too.
I think we’re all going to go on a trip like after graduation and school ends in May probably for a week or so, it’ll most likely just be me, Mirhad, Ermin, Anel, and Sanela. We might go somewhere in the mountains which GETS ME SO EXCITED!!!!! It’s been way too long since I have hiked at the mountains and inhaled that fresh crisp air ❤ so I will probably get going on planning that too 😀 I don’t even care if it’s Colorado again… you know that’s my favorite place!! But just anywhere outside, maybe even Yosemite or Grand Canyon? Who knows?! But that means travel posts, woohoo!!
But yeah, that is pretty much everything I’ve needed to update on. Now that I am a little less stressed out, I can focus way more on blogging. See ya! 🙂
